I had early removal of a septal extension at the nasal tip after just 1 week. But I’m curious because other people say it’s still hard even after removal, whereas mine actually feels even softer than before surgery. When I had my original nose, it felt like I could feel the alar cartilage right under the nasal tip skin, but now it feels like there’s space underneath, should I say? The skin on the nasal tip feels like a deflated balloon with no elasticity, and I can’t really feel the alar cartilage underneath either. If I shake the tip of my nose, it does seem to be there, but maybe the skin stretched during surgery…
