My original nose had almost no bridge and was short. The bridge was really flat. The surgical method I had was silicone and septal cartilage. The reasons I’m considering removal are nasal obstruction, tightness/pulling in the nose, and asymmetry. I went for consultations, and what they all commonly said, except for one place, was: 1. The nasal obstruction and asymmetry may not improve with removal. 2. The asymmetry was probably how my original nose was. But from what I feel, with my original nose my nostrils were barely visible, so when looking from the front, I never felt it was asymmetric at all, and when I looked at my pre-op photos, the nostrils were the same. 3.
