I’m 6 months after my first surgery. I asked them to remove everything: donated costal cartilage, mesh, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage, and only do cartilage repositioning. But they said there needs to be a support so they can tie the cartilage, so some mesh has to be left, and donated costal cartilage is needed to act as the support. Is this right?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
