I had my first nose surgery in early 2014, and after living with silicone in my nose for 9 years, the revision surgery went wrong, so I suddenly had to have it removed in July because of inflammation. After removal, I saw that although my original nose had been low to begin with, the nasal bridge had become flattened to match the silicone shape, so it was even lower than my original nose. Maybe because contracture had developed, the columella had also retracted more than my original nose, and it was really hopeless… At first, I cried a lot, and I truly wondered when time would pass, but as the weather has gotten colder, three months have now passed. Thinking that there are three months left makes it feel like there isn’t much time left now. I’m not necessarily going to complete the full 6 months…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
