I'm currently on day 6, and I've had the splint removed and stitches taken out. I had nose surgery 9 years ago with a 35 mm septal support strut, and I lived without any major problems for about 4 to 5 years, but around 2018-2019, contraction started to appear. I was busy with life, so even though I only finally had surgery now and removed everything, I'm very satisfied right now. ※ I did not do anything like donated costal cartilage, autologous costal cartilage, or dermis for the nasal tip ※ Nothing was put into my nose, only removal. I had absolutely no intention of revision surgery, and my only goal was total removal. I gave up the mindset of returning completely to my original nose and aimed for removal thinking that even 70% return would be enough. Through plastic surgery, one thing I learned for sure…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
