I’m looking into getting my first rhinoplasty, and I happened to find a nose removal/reconstruction forum here, so I came in to look. I’m wondering why everyone is trying to remove their nose implants. When I went for a consultation today, they said they would raise it with only silicone and septal cartilage, without using ear cartilage. If I do it this way, will I get contracture? ㅠㅠ

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
