Day 5 after surgery..

The swelling has been going down a bit more slowly since yesterday. The second day was the worst, with pretty severe bruising too, but from the third day the bruises were noticeably reduced and the swelling too.. For reference, my swelling and bruising are really bad. I’m someone who suffered for two months from swelling after double eyelid surgery. Well, back then it was worse because I cried every day saying it failed, then slept and ate and slept, lol. Now my eyes don’t even look like they’ve had surgery. Even the plastic surgeon doesn’t know. lol That’s not the important part though. I have to go see my parents in 10 days, so I’m managing everything on my own very diligently. Some people say pumpkin water doesn’t work, but surely it wouldn’t be completely ineffective? I drink about 10 cups of pumpkin water a day. I never drink regular beverages, only pumpkin water. And pumpkin jeon. I put pumpkin in everything and live on pumpkin. I eat all 3 meals properly, and I sleep with two pillows propped up so it’s really uncomfortable. And in this cold, I always leave the window open and never turn on the boiler. I do warm compresses more than 5 times a day. And since the room is warm, I thought that might make the swelling worse. Even when watching videos, I don’t lean back; I just sit upright and watch. I have nothing else to do, so I’ve been watching 2 videos every day. lol So even though it’s day 5, it’s not as swollen as I expected. My cheeks are puffy, so I think my cheeks are still swollen a lot.. lol Everyone, I think managing yourself after surgery is even more important. If you keep lying down and not moving, it swells more. If you eat well, you’ll become pretty faster.. I’ll post photos after I take off the tape. Finally, I’m going tomorrow to have the stitches removed from my nostrils.
