Because my eyes were so droopy.. my nickname used to be Snoopy.. With encouragement from people around me, persuasion from my mother, and after making a difficult decision, I ended up having surgery in Suseo, Seoul. I had consultations at two places in Cheongdam, and had it done at the last place I consulted. All the doctors told me, “Please open your eyes,” but I didn't even realize I was lifting my eyebrows to open them.. So I had ptosis correction and medial epicanthoplasty, and probably.. an incisional double eyelid procedure too; anyway, I had the surgery. I was waiting, then went in, and they told me to lie down. Then they asked if I was wearing makeup, so I naturally said I wasn't. They rubbed disinfectant over my entire face, placed green cloths here and there, and the doctor.. came in.. Ah.. When I was young and went in for surgery for acute appendicitis, I wasn't scared at all of having a knife put to my abdomen. But injections were scary. For the medial epicanthoplasty, they injected two spots on both sides, and for the ptosis correction, again two spots on both sides.. Honestly, the injections hurt a lot. Tears came out.. I think you should keep that in mind before going.. I didn't feel the incision with the scalpel at all. But it's not that there was absolutely no sensation. It felt like pressure with a stick? about that much.. It took a little over about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and toward the end, the pain started to come little by little.. The doctor said, “I should remove some fat too, right?” and when he used something, whether it was electricity.. or a laser, anyway, I also felt a tingling sensation in my eyeball. Oh. And when they stitch the eye with thread, it feels like the muscles are being pulled. After it was over, I got an injection in my buttock, and this hurt too..ㅠ.ㅠ The injection I got when I went for disinfection on Saturday didn't hurt.. Anyway, after surgery I'm diligently doing cold compresses with a Zorro mask.. While lying there for over two hours, what I thought was that if someone paid for me and told me to have surgery again.. I don't think I would do it.. Becoming pretty is such a hard journey.. Hing.. Oh. If I speak based on my own experience, please refer to word of mouth, but also look carefully at the doctor's experience. And unless you are going through a trustworthy relative, if the clinic says, “Actually it costs this much, but we're doing it for you at this price,” please really take that only as a reference.. Everyone.. I hope you are all happy, and happy New Year 2006.. Those who had surgery like me.. I hope you all get good results~
