I’m on day 9 after rhinoplasty with no implant, using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I was so stressed that I said I wanted early removal, and they said they could do it, but recommended removal after 6 months, so I decided to remove it after 6 months. The doctor also said he used the septum, but didn’t separately mention extension or a strut, and since I hadn’t studied it before going, I just thought, “Oh, they used the septum, I see,” and moved on.
