I didn’t have surgery at one of the three major places, so no clinic mention. They say up to 2 months is when the contraction phase is the worst. I’m a little over one month in, so it’s at the peak, and when I wake up, my nose is lifted and shriveled, and I seriously feel so much reality hitting me. It’s like Michael Jackson’s nose could step aside, whatever. I’m not even in a situation where I can rest, so my mentality is getting completely worn down. I’m very anxious about whether it will really end as just the contraction phase, or whether it will move into contracture. For people trying to remove because of changes in impression or psychological anxiety, if there hasn’t been much manipulation it may be okay, but if possible, with cartilage repositioning or revision surgery...

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
