It’s been about 5 years since my surgery, and I had it done with 4 mm silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. Right after surgery, something like cartilage was protruding inside the left side of my nose, but the doctor said it was okay, so I just lived thinking it must be fine. Sometimes the mucous membrane on that side would swell, become raw, and then settle down, and whenever that happened, I would apply antibiotic ointment. Then around last year, something that might be a piece of cartilage or something started protruding on the right side too, so I went to the hospital where I had the surgery. They said there was no inflammation and no contracture, so it was okay, and I felt reassured. But recently, the inside of my nose has been feeling sore…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
