I remembered shedding a bucket of tears when the stitches were removed back then, so I couldn't gather the courage. When I asked the consultant what the current information on lateral canthoplasty is like.. she said that unlike back then, they now treat it with a laser and the effect has improved.. Actually, if she had said there wasn't much effect, I was just going to skip lateral canthoplasty and only get my double eyelids redone^^;; Now surgery start~~ I lay down on the operating table and had a lot of fear about anesthesia for the lateral canthoplasty area.ㅠㅠ The consultant held both my hands tightly, so I felt somewhat reassured~ I asked the doctor;; to inject the anesthetic solution little by little, step by step When I went to the dentist, injections done that way didn't hurt ㅡㅡ^ Maybe because of that, on one side I went waah~ aak~ and shouted while making a bit of a fuss.. but the other side was bearable, so I stayed still.. Maybe because I did the double eyelids first and then the lateral canthoplasty, by the time we did the lateral canthoplasty the anesthesia had worn off a little, so they injected again. At that time, rather than hurting, it felt unpleasant.. When doing lateral canthoplasty.. you have to keep your eyes open..;;; Last year, when I had the very first eye done, I was really awkward, but when they did the other eye, I had some idea what to do Using that feeling, this time... When doing the left eye, I opened my eye and fixed on one spot to the right and stared hard at it.. If your eyeball moves, you get scolded because you could get injured.. You just do both sides like that^^;;; They do laser treatment for each eye.. That felt the worst It went chik~ chik.ㅡㅡ^ and made a bbusisijjik~ sound and you have to do that with your eyes open;; The smell of burning flesh comes up too.ㅋㅋ I think that was the hardest part.. Maybe because it was my first experience;ㅡㅡ; And then the surgery was over.. As for the stitches~ Last year, I really poured out a bucket of tears for several minutes.. It feels exactly like scissors tearing into raw flesh.. There is no other way to describe it, that's exactly itㅠㅠ So I was most worried about that this time For lateral canthoplasty stitches, make sure to ask for an experienced;; nurse to do it And 2 people are better than doing it alone One person lifts and holds the eye, and the other cuts the stitch, snap~. One side hurt a bit for me.. But it ended quickly~ (Last year it took more than 10 minutes per side..) Also, on the other side, the two nurses worked in sync, and just as I was clenching both fists thinking, now it's going to start.. the consultant said, "Wow, that's a relief~" so I wondered what she meant, and it turned out they had already removed the stitches^^ I had the stitches removed like that yesterday~ Looking at the condition today, well over half of the wound has healed, and it hasn't reattached yet~ I don't know how many millimeters it was opened, but when I roughly measured with a ruler, it seems opened about 4-5 mm, and it feels like the lower side is torn open more than the upper side.. Since I only had simple lateral canthoplasty, a lot of people asked whether the outer corners of the eyes drooped or if it felt like that.. I don't have that; it just feels opened sideways. The lateral canthoplasty I had been looking forward to, this time it turned out well and I'm so happy, and now I'm going to set dates for my nose and fat grafting^^ I'll definitely leave reviews then too^^
