I'm having removal consultations because of the foreign-body sensation from the silicone, pinched nostrils, and triangular nostrils. At the hospital I went to yesterday, they said there are about 3 layers of ear cartilage placed on top of the septal support graft, and that if they remove 1-2 layers to match the step-off after removing the silicone, it should improve. Honestly, compared with full removal, the risk is much lower, so if this solves it, I'd be thankful, but would it really? ㅜㅡㅜ According to the doctor, because my original nose was small and short, my septal cartilage was small, so the support graft itself was small from the beginning and was not raised enough to cause pinching. If it is pinched, it is because of the ear cartilage placed on top like a cap graft …
