For those who have had nose surgery, please give sincere answers

I had rhinoplasty on Monday and still haven’t had the stitches removed. It’s already the fifth day, and the swelling seems to have gone down somewhat, but whenever I eat, my nose feels so tight and congested that I get dizzy. And if I feel like I’ve overdone it even a little, my nose feels numb and hurts. Is it because I still haven’t removed the tape and splint? The swelling in other areas has almost all gone down, but my nose feels heavy and hurts a lot. Also, when I wake up in the morning it hurts less, but whenever I eat or around lunchtime, the swelling seems to get a bit worse and it hurts. I want to know if this is normal. And does the numbness go away when the tape is removed? Around when does the numbness and pain go away? I keep having numbness, and except for the first day when it wasn’t numb, since swelling started two days later, it has been numb continuously.
