It’s been 4 years since I had reconstruction for a contracted nose using autologous costal cartilage, and the very top part of my nostril looks slightly bluish, like bruising or pigmentation. Recently, I went to the hospital a few times for another issue, and they said the itching and throbbing were not inflammatory symptoms. Now all the symptoms have disappeared. Maybe because I looked at my nose so closely due to the symptoms, the area around the nasal tip and ala seems especially bluish. So I looked through old photos too, and even before surgery and right after surgery, there seemed to be traces of pigmentation like in the third photo. I wonder if I’m being too sensitive about it, so nose surgery …
