I had revision surgery today: full-incision double eyelid + lateral canthoplasty

I originally had my first surgery in the summer of 2001.. with the buried-suture method No one knew I had it done (my friends knew, though.^^.) So I was kind of proud. lol It didn't come undone, but at that time I was scared during surgery, so I didn't do things like medial or lateral canthoplasty But then.... after getting canthoplasty, the eyes looked much bigger and prettier. So this time I boldly decided to do canthoplasty too and make the line a bit bigger, had a consultation at the clinic, scheduled the surgery date, and had it done today. I didn't do medial canthoplasty, only lateral canthoplasty Maybe because it was revision surgery, or because it was lateral canthoplasty, it took a really long time. They said it took about 2 hours..... Isn't that a lot? Usually during eye surgery, you open your eyes and they check the line while operating, right? It was awful..... It didn't hurt, but that sound of cutting flesh! -- They used a laser, and there was a smell of burning flesh too I referred to this community a lot before going, but it was scary.... I had it done in Myeong-dong They say so many Japanese people come there for cosmetic surgery, so I thought they might be good, and the price is a bit cheaper than Gangnam too More than doing it somewhere famous for being good, I went because I saw my friend's result in person and it was pretty^^ I thought that was the right way to choose a clinic^^ There don't seem to be many posts about lateral canthoplasty, so I'm opening my eyes wide and posting this^^ If you have any questions, I hope I can help I had it done at 10 a.m. today Maybe the swelling is already going down, because I can't see the stitches now They're covered... hehe It didn't swell much either^^ Only, maybe because I had lateral canthoplasty, when I look sideways as if glaring, my eyes hurt... Other than that and my eyes getting tired easily, there's nothing much^^ This is just my thought: they tell you to use cold compresses before the stitches are removed, right? But I think it would be good to definitely do a warm compress about once a day.. For warm compresses, I don't put on a pack; I put my face near the steam coming out while boiling water in a kettle Then I could feel the muscles around my eyes moving much more softly^^ If you put on a pack, it might be warm but there could be germs, so try doing warm compresses like that^^ It was good^^ I'll definitely upload photos later once the swelling goes down^^ Please look forward to them^^
