I had bulbous nose correction, and with no implant, only the nasal tip was done using autologous costal cartilage. I only had the columellar base reduction on the left side because my left nostril was bigger. My columella became crooked, my nostrils became much more uneven than my original nose, and I couldn’t breathe, so I had early full removal after just 10 days. The nasal tip became depressed, so it was filled with autologous dermis, but a third nose that isn’t my old nose came out. I’m on day 8 after full removal now. Is the nasal tip looking chubbier because of swelling, or did it become a different nose because of the bulbous nose correction? Once the swelling goes down and the bulbous nose correction stitches loosen, will it go back to my original nose? Why did I get nose surgery?
