Day 4 after chin surgery

Time is still going by quickly. The first and second days felt incredibly long.. I’m happy that I can leave a review like this too. I can’t describe how I felt when I got on the operating table~ I was so scared I might not wake up, and I wanted to cancel the surgery right then and run away. The nurses inserted a needle into my vein, and anesthesia started right away~ The blunt anesthesiology director put a plastic bag over my mouth without even saying they were starting, only told me to take deep breaths, and from then on I lost consciousness~ It wasn’t even gradual, so I really don’t remember anything~ When I woke up, I was in the recovery room, and thankfully I didn’t have vomiting or dizziness. Because of the IV, I went back and forth to the restroom every two hours, so I couldn’t sleep properly, and almost the whole night felt like a hundred years~ The next day I was discharged and took the subway alone, then took another bus from the terminal ^^ I pulled my hat down and wrapped a scarf around myself so only my eyes showed, so people stared at me strangely and I felt self-conscious~ but I still came home firmly. At first I only drank Morning Sunshine and soy milk, but now I’m eating yogurt and mashed tofu~ I heard pumpkin juice helps with swelling, so I drink it whenever I can. There’s really nothing that gives you strength like eating~ I’m also gargling consistently~ I’m reassured by being told my swelling and recovery are extremely fast compared with others, and I’m just hoping time passes. I think the surgery went well too~ Since it was a surgery to slim only the front chin, they said it requires aesthetic sense and is somewhat not easy, so it was 2 million won more expensive than a regular square jaw surgery~ As a result of working hard and digging up information, I think I had it done well at a reputable hospital without paying too much~ Before surgery, I also wavered and worried and wasted a lot of time~ but now that I’ve done it, I feel relieved and think it wasn’t a big deal~ The hard part is exactly half a day~ For those worried about chin surgery.. If you have the money and a bit of courage, and if you have the patience to wait slowly, please don’t worry any longer.. Because our lives are still too long to live forever carrying a complex and feeling dissatisfied ^^~ I hope everyone has a beautiful, successful surgery~ and that all your surgical results turn out well too. Thank you for reading my shabby review ~♥
