Nose surgery review... one week

ㅋ I looked around diligently, but I never thought I’d end up posting something myself. lol It has been exactly one week since surgery, and after writing this I’m going to get my stitches removed. I thought about writing after getting them removed, but since it’s my first outing in a while, I feel like I’ll end up going somewhere else... lol Because I had a low, short nose, I had the bridge built up with Gore-Tex and cartilage for the nasal tip.. Classic, right (ㅎㅛㅎ);; Until day two, I looked like a beast with top-tier dark circles, but within a week it settled down as if that never happened... Now most of the swelling has gone down, and only yellow bruising remains around the nasal bridge. The surgery was about 2 hours, I think.. Sedation anesthesia... was not pleasant. I really felt like I was traveling in three dimensions, you know? I thought I was going to throw up. (Since I was lying down, if I had thrown up, it would have been roughly a disaster, right? ㅋ) My impression, I guess... was that it doesn’t change as dramatically as I thought. Before doing it, I was really scared it would change too much, but once there was no dramatic change, I felt a little disappointed? lol Still, since the glabella area appeared, I think it has the effect of making the face look smaller and more defined. Surprisingly, they barely touched the nasal tip. Even from below there wasn’t much difference, so I thought, my precious ear cartilage... what a waste. Anyway, there are a few things I’m really curious about.. I think people with experience will know. 1. Dead skin!! As if anyone couldn’t tell I have oily skin, after a week of not washing properly, dead skin built up properly.. It feels like my face becoming the sole of a foot isn’t far off! How did everyone overcome this roughly awkward situation? I’m afraid my nose will go crooked, so I can’t touch it carelessly either. Please share your know-how ㅠㅗㅠ 2. When does it start feeling like my own nose? Does that day ever come?? Right now, even when I’m staying still, I continuously and persistently feel like a clothespin is clipped onto my nose. Sometimes the inside of my nostrils aches too... Is everyone like this? Someday... will it feel like my own nose? Will there come a state where it doesn’t pull when I yawn, and I’m comfortable even when I smile?? ㅠㅗㅠ 3. Sorry for talking so much. This is the last one. Now that everything is done, only now the fear of side effects is finally coming over me. (How very quick of me.) How much time has to pass before I can finally feel reassured and say, “I am at last free from side effects”? One month? Two months? I suddenly tremble with the fear that what is attached to my nose might be a time bomb..... Silly, right? Surgery... was not as big a deal as I thought. Even now, I sometimes have random thoughts like, “What does becoming prettier even mean...” but simply put, being able to change a part that had been a long-time complex.. I think it is a convenient and effective method. (Of course, nothing is free! - my time... money... ㅠㅗㅠ) Am I rambling? Sob, if there are no comments, I think I’ll be very embarrassed.. I hope everyone becomes prettier.....!!
