Everyone who had surgery for a contracted nose, I’m curious about something. I’m in a state where I developed contracture from L-shaped silicone, and it’s been over 20 years. I’ve now had consultations at 3 places. One place said they need to support the nose with autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage, and two places said if I just remove the silicone, it will go back to my original nose. If I really only remove the silicone, will the contracture improve to some extent?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
