I’m considering removing silicone as part of a revision rhinoplasty ㅜㅜ At every place I went for consultations, they all said the silicone on my nasal bridge is too high, so I should either lower the silicone or remove it completely. Since I want to minimize the risk of another revision surgery later as much as possible, I’m leaning toward removing it. However, I’m really scared that the sense of loss after removing the silicone will be so big that I end up putting silicone back in after all ㅠㅠ If I remove silicone that’s about 3-4 mm, could my impression change drastically, or could my satisfaction after surgery drop too much…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
