Eye and nose surgery!! A scary 3 hours -_

I had surgery on January 26, but I’m posting now~ The day I went for surgery! My surgery was at 4 p.m., so I was so hungry it was hard; First, before surgery, I had a consultation, took photos, and they drew the lines. Then I changed into the patient gown for my upper body, changed into slippers, and went into the operating room!! When I was lying on the operating table, the nurse worked really hard and tied my hair up like a samurai -_ -; lol [I had so many baby hairs that so much came out when they removed the tape ;ㅁ;] They put something like an IV needle into the back of my hand, attached something to my finger to measure my pulse, and covered me with something like a blanket. Finally, the doctor appeared!! They disinfected my face and gave me anesthetic injections around my eyes, and it really stung; enough to make my eyes tear up a little; [I do tend to be a bit dramatic about pain, though -_ -;] I was afraid I might tense my eyes without realizing it, so I held the blanket tightly with my left hand~ [So I didn’t get bruising around my eyes ^- ^] Somehow the eye surgery ended, and before starting the nose surgery, they put me under sleep anesthesia. The doctor said I should think good thoughts so I’d have good dreams, so I thought of my boyfriend -_ -; Later, when I was starting to come to, I could hear the sound of cartilage being taken from my ear, like scratch-scratch; It was a bit creepy, but it didn’t hurt, so that was good~ I could feel something going into my nose, but it was totally fine~ It felt like it ended quickly?! Lastly, they put lots of bandage-like tape all over my face and I came out~ Anyway, after 3 hours of surgery, I did a little cold/warm compress in the recovery room, and came home~ [by bus and subway lol] Today is day 6 after surgery, and the swelling is almost all gone, so my mom says it’s amazing lol I tried to explain it as much in detail as possible; Everyone, have a good surgery too~ Don’t be nervous~ I was worried about things like surgical side effects too, but it turned out really well and I’m very happy with it ^- ^ Make sure to have a detailed consultation before surgery~
