Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

If I remove a septal extension graft after septal reconstruction with autologous costal cartilage, will it collapse?

Before surgery, my nose had a severely deviated and collapsed septum, so it was reconstructed with autologous costal cartilage. I simply thought it was only an L-shaped support reconstruction, but they had placed a columellar strut and added grafting next to it, making it a septal extension graft. Maybe because of the septal extension graft, my breathing is uncomfortable, so I’m considering removal. I’m curious whether septal reconstruction originally includes a septal extension graft, or if not, whether the septal extension graft can be removed while preventing the nose from collapsing. If the septal extension graft is removed, would there be nothing to serve as the L-shaped support, so it might collapse? ㅜㅜ Anyone in a similar situation…
