When I had revision surgery, I used autologous costal cartilage, but my conclusion is that in the end, the shape seems to depend on the director’s style. I didn’t want it to come out pointy, but I had no other option, so I had to use autologous costal cartilage. But if I only had everything removed, my nose would definitely look spread out, and because I had a short nose, I felt that after removal and once time passed, I’d end up touching my nose again, so I just had revision surgery done at the same time.
