At the last consultation I went to, they said they could place auricular perichondrium over my thinned skin to help prevent possible depression a little. Since my nasal tip has drooped and the skin on the nasal tip has become quite thin, it’s in a blotchy state. They said placing this over it like a protective layer could reduce the show-through caused by thin skin. Since this is the first and only clinic that suggested it, I’m tempted, but they didn’t strongly say it was essential; they recommended it more as an optional choice. Could anyone share information they know about auricular perichondrium grafting?
