Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

This is my ptosis surgery review ^ㅂ^)/

Hello. I'm Ureup<- and I've finished ptosis surgery. (I have no memory of why my nickname was set as Ureup.-_-;; Was I possessed or something;;) I had the stitches removed yesterday, and I think all the swelling has gone down now. Looking at the line -_-; new skin is growing in a scary way too. While washing dishes, I saw white flesh forming and panicked because I thought it was pus... haha.^^ Um... since I also got a lot of help from this community, I wanted to help others too, so I'm writing this review. ^^ First, I had monolid eyes. I never lived thinking my eyes were small, but people said I looked quite sleepy. I just didn't think about it and lived happily on my own. Well, when taking selfies, my eyes seemed to look fairly big too. -_-;; (I realized much later that this was a total huge misconception lol) During college life... maybe because I was in art school, there were many times I overworked my eyes. My part-time job also ended at 10 at night.. And by then, I kept feeling like my eyelids were coming down, and I felt tired. At those times, I would close my eyes and try to sleep, but sleep wouldn't come... I told my mother a few times, "Mom, my eyes are coming down." Each time my mother would shoot back, "How does that even make sense-_-" Because I've always had great interest in protruding mouth correction, I browsed a lot of plastic surgery clinic sites... and there was information about ptosis. Protruding mouth correction was so astronomically expensive that I gave up, and I started looking into ptosis. Just reading the explanations on plastic surgery clinic sites, I really couldn't tell. ^^; So I just lived thinking my eyes were originally like this, and at night my eyelids naturally came down because I was tired.. But when I smile, my eyes become uneven. Especially when I smile while looking down, my face becomes quite grotesque. -_-;;;; My parents saw my face like that and said they couldn't leave me living like this when I was born in such a good era... and suggested going to a plastic surgery clinic once. So then I brought up ptosis and told them I thought I had ptosis. -_-; The result was, as expected, a flop.. My parents said we should first go to a hospital and get a diagnosis, and since I live in Ilsan, I went for a consultation at a certain clinic in Ilsan said to be good at ptosis surgery. During that process, this community helped tremendously. I want to thank you directly... Thank you, Jjaksarang ///-ㅂ-//// Anyway, I went to the clinic and the doctor was blunt. He looked right at me and immediately said, "It's ptosis." After that, we did a few tests where I had to open my eyes using only the eye muscles, and the result was disastrous. I could barely open them. He said I could only open my eyes using my forehead and eyebrow muscles... and that it was a fairly bad case. T_T Imagining how ridiculous I must have looked, unable to open my eyes just because my eyebrows were held in place... -_-;;; It's depressing. The scary -_-;;; doctor diagnosed me with severe ptosis and said 4 mm of the eye muscle needed to be cut out. After getting the diagnosis, setting the date, and coming home, I felt extremely troubled. The surgery date was set for 2 weeks later, so I started preparing myself mentally. "I'm not scared-_- I'm absolutely not scared.-_-" The really long 2 weeks passed, and finally the surgery day came. -_ㅠ The doctor said with a serious expression, "Ah... a difficulty first thing in the morning... -_-" Because my two eyes are different sizes and I have somewhat severe astigmatism, the size changes every time I open my eyes. -_-;;;; Anyway, I lay down on the operating table and the surgery started. The anesthetic injection stung the most. -_ㅠ After that, I didn't feel much. Maybe because I had deliberately scared myself so much, it was bearable. But the burning smell here and there, and the feeling of the muscle being pulled, were a bit chilling. Still, it was bearable. In the middle, I got up and sat about a dozen times to check whether my eyes opened well... and there was no problem. Until the anesthesia wore off. -_- Because the astigmatism in my right eye was severe, he worked on it a lot... and then the anesthesia wore off first. -_-;;; I looked at the doctor... and he was concentrating so hard. I didn't want to break his flow for no reason, so I gritted my teeth and endured it. At that time... who did I think of... Not my dad... not my mom... but the celebrity Ock Joo-hyun. -_-;;; Thinking of Ock Joo-hyun... I kept repeating to myself, "Right... from now on, I should respect Ms. Ock T_T," and that made me feel a little calmer. But when he was stitching, I felt exactly the sensation of the thread and needle going in and out. It stung quite a lot. -_-; Still, it was bearable. On the left side, the anesthesia hadn't worn off, so I couldn't really feel much. I only felt it a little when it was tied.. The nurse showed me a mirror... Ah... it reminded me of a King Kong movie poster I once saw. In the mirror, an unfamiliar woman with huge eyelids was glaring at me;; The doctor said the surgery was successful~ and that expressionless face of his opened up like Hiddink's face after scoring a goal. But I was completely intimidated by the scary woman. Ignoring the woman's gaze, I got in the car and arrived home. I felt nauseous, so I mixed rice into seaweed soup and ate it (does that make no sense;;), then slept for an hour. I woke up and mixed rice in again-_- Anyway, after the surgery my appetite became way too strong; I wasn't moving though;; The swelling went down faster than I expected. I was holed up at home just staring at the computer, but I could feel my eyelids gradually getting lighter. Most of all, it was so amazing that when I opened my eyes, my eyes actually opened. ^^; I went to the clinic for disinfection, and the doctor looked at my eyes and was really happy, saying it was a success. -..-; I looked in the mirror, but King Kong was still in there...;; While reading posts in this community, I saw that exercise is effective for reducing swelling, so I rode a cycle for an hour... and the swelling definitely went down. ^^ Now the swelling is almost all gone. Once the yellow bruises and red blood bruises fade, I think I'll be able to go outside. That woman has gone home now... kyakyakya. The doctor said ptosis patients have thick eyelids, so you can't make the double-eyelid line large, so I had the line made as an inner double eyelid. He said if it's made large, it looks awkward. At first, I looked so greasy... I resolved to live as if sliding along, but as the days went by, it became more clean and natural.ㅎ Right now, because of the bruising, it looks like weird eye makeup, but I think it'll be okay once only the bruising fades. What is really amazing is that opening my eyes in the morning used to be so hard, but now when I wake up, my eyes open wide right away. The headaches that used to come at night are gone too. ^^ The symptom of my eyes coming down at night is gone, so it feels so refreshing, comfortable, and good. They say ptosis patients get headaches because they use their forehead muscles and eyebrow muscles. I didn't even know that and used to discuss life every night... lol It's so comfortable and good. I almost want to thank the doctor. The surgery progress is good too... now I'm truly almost happy. ^^ I want to wash my hair, but I'm worrying back and forth because water might not be good if it gets in. I want to hurry up and wash my hair, wash my face, and live like a human.. lol My hair is already the oiliest of oily... -_- Maybe because I've gotten used to the soybean-paste smell, I can't smell anything anymore... kyakya My family is the one suffering -_-; Next month, makeup will be possible too. I want to quickly meet all my relatives and friends. I also want revenge(?) on the people who always teased me for droopy eyes and looking sleepy -_- haha. ^^ Anyway, I hope the bruising fades quickly. I also hope my eyes heal well. I got a lot of information from this place that I learned about through a friend's introduction, and decisively, I'm grateful that I met a good clinic and doctor. Even though he may have been blunt -_- he really did the surgery carefully and thoroughly with his best effort. And now I can open my eyes really comfortably. Now I should go attack inner double-eyelid makeup methods. ^^ Then I'll end my chaotic review here. To everyone reading my post... and everyone in this community, I pray that you all become prettier and live with even more confidence. Have a good day. ^^
