I’m somehow entering my 6th month now. At the 1-month mark, I thought I’d get it removed as soon as I reached 6 months. I wondered how I could get through 6 months when even one month was this hard, but now that I’m actually approaching 6 months, time really has just flown by helplessly. And now that the time is here, I can’t find the courage to undergo removal surgery. They said they were correcting my deviated septum, but they basically ruined my septum, so I’m scared of developing a saddle nose. I’m also worried about what the shape will become since they did every possible manipulation on my nose: osteotomy, hump osteotomy, spreader graft, septal extension, trimming and tying the alar cartilages, septoplasty, and radiofrequency treatment of the inferior turbinates. I feel like it’s already too late to go back…
