I’m so, so worried, so I’m leaving a post here. I’m sorry for posting something that may not fit the category. I have a severe hump nose, so I really want to get surgery. They said they would shave down the hump, not put in any silicone at all, and operate on the nasal tip using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. In that case, I’m really curious whether there might be any side effects. Also, they said my septal cartilage is a bit short, so they might use donated costal cartilage. Would donated costal cartilage be better than autologous costal cartilage? If anyone could answer, I would be really, really grateful.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
