I’m 4 months post-op from my first rhinoplasty. I had a closed approach with silicone wrapped in fascia, crushed ear cartilage, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and an ear cartilage strut. My impression changed to look stronger, and my nose originally didn’t show my nostrils at all, but after surgery I still can’t get used to my nostrils showing from the front. Originally, my glabella was low and my nasal tip was high, but they raised the tip saying they would correct my bulbous nose, so it looks very obviously operated on, but it became an unattractive nose. For 4 months, I really cried every day. I kept blaming myself and regretting every day, thinking that because I touched a face that had no problems, I could never go back to how I was before. The mental stress was so severe that at night I took sedatives …

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
