Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I had under-eye fat repositioning..

I had surgery last Monday thanks to the help of this community. Especially.. thank you to 'You Are My Destiny' for the great information.. Anyway... I'll share my post-op experience for anyone curious about the information... I got hospital information after seeing a review here saying they had under-eye fat repositioning, and went for a consultation. It's a place called ㅎㅇㅁ in Myeongdong.. When I got there, the clinic was more modest than I expected..ㅎㅎ Honestly, I was a little disappointed and felt weird, but after talking with the doctor my mind changed completely. He carefully consulted with me for about an hour... and anyway, since a lot of people come through this community for introductions, there were rumors that he was some kind of master of under-eye fat repositioning, but actually there just aren't many places that do this surgery. He was even humble about it... In the end, I had the surgery late Monday afternoon this week.. I had sedation anesthesia, and it really didn't hurt at all.. and it didn't hurt at all after surgery either... strangely enough. After the surgery, I was in the recovery room and got up to leave, then looked in the mirror and was startled at first... the bulge under my eyes was gone, but the nasolabial folds around my mouth looked deeply carved in. ㅡㅡ;; I asked the nurse in surprise, and she said it would be fine once the swelling went down later... I was still anxious, but after a few days it was indeed fine..ㅎㅎ Anyway... after coming home from the surgery, I used the cold pack I was given and iced diligently.. but suddenly the area under my left eye felt tight and then swelled up in an instant. It was like a boxer who got hit and swelled up. Looking closely, there was blood pooling on my eye too. I guess the pack was tightened too much when I used it... maybe that caused bleeding... ㅡㅜ The next morning... as the doctor said, it was much more swollen than on the day of surgery. The left eye, where there had been bleeding, looked truly monstrous... and the right eye was a little better, but it was still much more swollen than on the day of surgery. But... the bluish bruise that had been under my eyes on the surgery day had disappeared on the right side, while on the left side, probably because of the bleeding, the blue bruise remained..ㅡㅡ;; That got long... To summarize... the day after surgery, the swelling is extreme, and then from the following day it starts going down. After about 4 days, the swelling is about like what you get after eating ramen and sleeping. As for bruising... normally there is almost none, or at most a little reddish bruising dotted along the lower eyelash line.. but if you are careless and get bleeding like I did, you end up with a bluish bruise, so be careful.. Anyway... for 2 to 3 days after surgery, the eyes are a bit bloodshot and uncomfortable, with some pressure and swelling, and from the 4th day it's okay. I went on vacation the day after the day after surgery.. Before, photos always showed my under-eye area sticking out, so I didn't like taking photos and they looked odd.. but now even if I smile brightly in photos, I come out looking pretty, so it's amazing..ㅎㅎ It's the 6th day now, and the flatness under my eyes still feels strange, so I keep looking in the mirror. For anyone worried about under-eye fat, I think it's better to just go ahead with surgery...^^
