A month ago, I had rhinoplasty with an open approach + silicone + AlloDerm + cartilage suturing. I did it in Apgujeong for 2.1 million won with money I earned from part-time work. Honestly, my skin is so thin that I naturally thought I’d have to use Gore-Tex, but the doctor talked about Gore-Tex’s downsides, and strongly recommended silicone, saying that if silicone is carved well, marks won’t show and it won’t look obvious. I trusted the doctor and left it to him, but.. after surgery, the implant marks showed in an “11” shape, and it looked obvious.. I hated and resented the doctor so much. He said he would only raise the nasal tip by 1.5 mm, so I felt reassured, thinking it wouldn’t change much, but it seemed like he raised it by at least 3 mm.. ;; The nasal tip is pulled together sharply, as if pinched with tweezers, so I look harsh. The nostrils are uneven, and on top of that, they are pointed like right triangles. It reminded me of Michael Jackson.. What on earth was he thinking, making my nostrils like this..-_- Before surgery it was low, but it was still a round and cute nose.. How could he make my nose this miserable.. Unable to bear it, on the 10th day I told the doctor. Then he said removal is easy.. But because not much time had passed, he told me to wait about a month. He said that if I still didn’t like it then, he would do anything for me.. I thought maybe I was being too hasty too, so I held back my tears and spent a hellish month. Finally, one month later. I met the doctor and said the condition was still the same, so please remove everything. Since he had said removal was easy, I felt reassured.. Then he said I shouldn’t do that.. He scared me, saying that my nose is hard now, so he would have to cut out all my own flesh, and was I still okay with that.. He said if he operates now, he can’t take responsibility..;;; It was so absurd that tears suddenly burst out Looking here, there are people who had removal after a month and people who had removal after 2 weeks, all kinds, so why is this doctor saying it can’t be done.. I’m anxious that maybe he just isn’t confident about removal.. and I feel like if I remove it, it will turn out strange.. I’m so scared, and it feels like I’m standing at the edge of a cliff.. I cried and pleaded, asking if he couldn’t please just remove it for me. Even so, he didn’t blink an eye.. This time he told me to wait another 6 months.. that it would become natural and I would like it.. Honestly, after a month, isn’t the shape already mostly set? I had heard things in my own way too, so after 6 months, wouldn’t the skin stretch, AlloDerm have severe adhesion, and the tied cartilage stick together, making it harder to return to the original appearance?? When I said that, he said that wasn’t the case.. OTL;;; Before surgery, I thought he was a good doctor, kind, with a nice impression, and not authoritarian.. but now that I see him, he’s a total liar and seems hard-hearted..ㅠㅠ What should I do.. Every single day feels like hell for me.. Why does he ignore this pain of mine and only tell me to wait until I like this nose.. This is my nose... I’m the one who has to like it. Cosmetic surgery is for self-satisfaction, so what does it matter how much the doctor and nurse say it’s pretty.. I hate my current nose so much that I shudder.. I miss my old nose so much, and if it could go back to even somewhat similar, even if not exactly the same, I think I would be truly happy.. The plastic surgeon just keeps saying my current nose is pretty and better than before surgery, so I should just wait for it to become natural..
