My surgery was yesterday afternoon, so I was just rolling around at home without much tension and went to the hospital. It was snowing so much that it almost made me want to scream-_-.. Then when I got to the hospital, they told me to wash my face thoroughly, so I washed up and got onto the operating table, and then they told me to put my legs and arms into these weird straps...ㅠ_ㅠ I was usually fine and not shaking at all, but when I saw the surgical lights, my legs started trembling. After that, I got the anesthetic IV first in my arm. It was put in my wrist, and it hurt a little when the needle went in, but it was just like getting an injection in the buttocks. It wasn't that painful. They said I would get dazed soon, so I was waiting, but I wasn't getting dazed! So I was getting anxious, and then the doctor said he was going to inject anesthesia into my eyeㅠ_ㅠ... So when I said, "I'm not dazed yet!!" he said, "Then I'll wait until you get dazed," and then it felt like he was putting the anesthesia injection into my eyelid-_-... He tricked me, but it really didn't hurt at all. And then I kind of fell into another dimension by myself.. A rainbow appeared and I was wandering around, and then there was this yellow road all swaying~ I was dreaming all sorts of things, and then I came to a little bit, and it was really like when you're drunk after drinking 2 bottles of soju, when you're conscious but feel like, what am I even saying right now? In that kind of state, I kept talking and laughing and chatting with the doctor and the nurse, and the doctor even said I was really funnyㅋㅋ Even I thought it was funny. Then about an hour later, the surgery was over. I could feel that they were stitching me up, burning flesh, and there was blood, but it wasn't that painful or gross. I heard that if you strain during surgery you get bruises, so I kept relaxing my body, and as a result I didn't get much bruising, just a little redness! The anesthetic injection they gave in my hand definitely seems effective! My friends said theirs hurt a lot because they didn't get the IV and got the first injection in the eye right away. Everyone, don't get too tense, and when choosing a hospital, I think it's okay to ask about whether they use anesthetic injections too..^^ㅋㅋ By the way, after I got anesthesia, they say I told my sister, "Heyyy~~ It hurts!!!" but I don't remember anything at all-_-;; The surgery ended without pain, and even now in the morning there isn't much pain. It's just that my eyes are so swollen that the size of my open eyes is the same as the size of sausages-_-... If I compare the left and right, the right sausage is much more swollen, so I'm first doing compresses on the right side and trying to reduce it evenlyㅠ_ㅠ Is that okay? I have this dirty feeling that the left looks better than the right,,, I want the swelling to go down quickly and the stitches removed too. I'm suffocatingㅠㅠ I don't think I can post photos right now because it's too seriousㅠㅠ But I'll post them when the stitches come out and my eyes look human again! For those who are about to have surgery, don't be too nervous, and I hope you get pretty eyes^^
