I uploaded right after surgery last time, but I deleted that post and uploaded photos from one week after (the photos are from week 1; right now it’s about week 2) I originally had double eyelids, but the ptosis was really severe. It was so tiring to keep putting strength into my eyes, they often came undone, my vision got worse.. I also didn’t like the line, so I pushed ahead with surgery. The doctor said my original eye line was already high, so it couldn’t be raised any more; So we didn’t increase it by even 1 mm and just followed my original line, but the swelling still hasn’t fully gone down (especially the right side, still sausage-like). The left side photo was around one week after, and the right side was around day 9 with makeup on. I shouldn’t have worn makeup, but I couldn’t resist and just tried it. Removing it was really hard; the right and left sides are uneven--; Originally they were much more uneven, but after surgery they seem a bit more similar; I don’t want all the swelling to go away completely, what should I do ㅠ I don’t want it to totally disappear and get thin, sob sob. I didn’t even swell that much originally,, I’m worried the swelling will keep going down from here and the line will get thinner; I deliberately haven’t taken any pumpkin juice or anything like that, and I only did cold compresses for a day or two then stopped ㅠ Still, it’s going down so fast on its own;; right now it’s much more down than in those photos; I wish it would stop going down now ㅠ These days I’m even deliberately crying before sleeping at night; Looking at it now though, the right side does need to go down a bit more-_-; But for those who had surgery too, does the thread pull when you sneeze? When I sneeze, the thread pulls, so I have to sneeze with my eyes open because I’m afraid it’ll come undone; I thought the thread dissolved, but they said it’s inside;;; So I asked the nurse, “I did have non-incisional double eyelid surgery, right?”.. ㅋㅋㅋ
