After revision rhinoplasty, I suffered because of inflammation, and yesterday I had the silicone removed completely. It was a revision surgery after removing silicone that had been in place for 15 years without any problems, even though it had been a bit rough, but now that I’ve had to remove it again because of inflammation like this, it’s hard... I went to the hospital because this was the second inflammation, so I was going to try treatment one more time and remove the silicone if inflammation developed again later, but once we actually looked at the inflammatory condition, it had become more serious than the first time, so we concluded that it should be removed completely. During all that time, I went to the hospital, got injections, got IV drips, took medication, didn’t drink even a sip of alcohol for 2 months after surgery, and couldn’t go to friends’ gatherings, but they said that if I want to have surgery again after removing the silicone, I have to wait at least 3 months.. If it’s another 3 months from now, together with the 2 months so far, that’s 5 months... Honestly, I’m angry and upset... I’m back to the nose I had 15 years ago.....ㅠㅠ I’m living with a praying heart, thinking that if the silicone is removed, inflammation won’t recur from now on... If inflammation develops again even after removing the silicone, that would truly be a serious problem, wouldn’t it... I wish the weight on me would lessen as much as my nose has become lower
