I had surgery last Tuesday~

I’m only posting now because I finally feel emotionally settled.. Reading surgery reviews helped me a lot.. so I wanted to post one too... I had it done together with a friend.. It was in Apgujeong.. While my friend went first, I waited while doing cold compresses, and I was trembling so much... Anyway, when I lay down on the operating table, I regretted it so much.. I even thought, should I just get up and leave... Anyway.. at the place where I had it done, they tied both hands to the bed. It felt like lying in a psychiatric hospital...ㅡㅡa They said it would be dangerous if I suddenly raised my hands or flinched... Anyway.. even when drawing the line above my eyes, they paid so much attention and drew it for a long time... Finally.. the anesthesia I had only heard about... I thought I was going to die... I remembered the posts here saying not to tense up, but it stung so much that I couldn’t tell whether I was tensing or not.. The nurse unnies on both sides held my hands tightly in advance, which helped.. Then came the sound and feeling of cutting skin.. and the smell from cauterizing with a laser to stop bleeding... More than anything, every time they cauterized, I felt something like water droplets splash onto my face, and when I thought it was blood, I got chills...;;; Maybe because I had a lot of sagging skin, they cut for quite a while.. little by little while checking... They kept having me open my eyes too.. It didn’t hurt.. It just.. felt unpleasant.. But fat removal hurt a lot... Again, they held my hands tightly on both sides~ It felt like they were forcibly pulling something out? A dull aching sensation? Then I guess they were suturing, because my eyes lifted little by little... The suturing also took quite a long time... I opened and closed my eyes a ton.. I think the doctor was very meticulous.. After catching my breath, they started the other side.. Anyway.. medial epicanthoplasty, removal of sagging skin, fat removal, full-incision double eyelid surgery.. all together took about 1.5 to 2 hours... It only hurts when they give the anesthetic injections and when they remove fat; other than that, you barely feel anything... It was nice that they held my hands before it hurt, so I could mentally prepare in advance... And at this place, they put gauze over the eyes... so I couldn’t see how the surgery turned out.... I only saw it after the stitches were removed.. The next day, I got an injection to reduce swelling, the day after that they disinfected it and changed the gauze, and on day 4 they removed the stitches.. They said removing them early prevents stitch-mark scars... Instead, they told me to avoid washing my face as much as possible and hold out for about two more days... Well.. they’re known for doing it without scars.. so I have to trust them... Since I did it with a friend.. we could exchange opinions about swelling.. It was reassuring and nice... I could have written this in a way that wouldn’t scare people as much.. but I thought honest mental preparation would be more necessary... I hope it helps everyone a lot...
