The doctor told me not to blow my nose or clean it with cotton swabs... But although I don't hold my nose with tissue and blow, I go hmm~!! and let it come out onto tissue... then just wipe the area under my nose... They said the foreign matter in the nose is like phlegm.. and to just swallow it down the back of my throat... But I have no idea how you're supposed to do that... Especially, what am I supposed to do about boogers...??? I just.. wet a cotton swab with water... and gently wipe them away. (It really feels refreshing afterward) I'm really a patient who doesn't listen at all, right? I even smoked starting from the first day of surgery. I think I blindly trust the medication the hospital gives for 2 weeks, and the injections and disinfection they do every day, so I'm acting without fear. But my concern is.... The skin on my nose is very thick, you know. Now that they reduced my nasal alae... my nostrils got smaller... so I don't think I'll be able to pick my nose. What should I do if my nose gets itchy later? After the swelling completely goes down too.... and it becomes like my own skin... will it be possible? Or wet cotton swabs for life???
