I had double eyelid surgery on Wednesday, and it was done with a partial incision. I originally had double eyelids, but one side was faint, so I got it done. I had my double eyelid surgery at an ophthalmology clinic, not a plastic surgery clinic. It was a fairly well-known ophthalmology clinic. But after the surgery, they really didn't tell me much about aftercare. I'm really worried + anxious.. At the ophthalmology clinic, they told me to do cold compresses only until today, two days after surgery, and today they removed the tape stuck on my eyes. And they said from today on, I only need to apply the ointment well morning and evening. They told me not to do cold compresses or warm compresses, saying they don't work?? So I couldn't ask any more and came back. From what I found out before surgery, I heard that until 3 days after surgery, I should diligently do only cold compresses, and after that combine cold and warm compresses... What is going on?? Those who have had surgery, please tell me how to take care of it. Do I really just need to do nothing from today and only apply the ointment well?? My eyes are so swollen they look gross...
