Review of Crooked Nose Osteotomy Surgery... It's the second day..

I had my surgery on Saturday... at 2 o'clock, with an appointment booked I headed to the hospital with my mom and little brother in tow.. As soon as I arrived... I talked with the doctor once more and then went straight into surgery~.. There wasn’t even time to prepare myself... I’m usually a very timid person, so I even brought an MP3 player.. Lying there.. I was incredibly scared. But the nurses next to me were chatting and laughing about trivial things as if nothing was wrong.. while I was so tense and freaking out.. Anyway, I was first given an IV and lay there.. and after a while the doctor came.. When they turned the light on, even with my eyes closed it was so bright it felt stinging, not just glaring.. While that was happening.. the nurse put something into the IV and it felt refreshing, then I gradually started losing consciousness;; Later, when I think about it.. after listening to one song, I couldn’t hear the music at all;; Anyway, I fell asleep, and I was dreaming that I was dating the guy I normally like;;!!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Then I started waking up a little and listened to the sounds, and they were hammering something thunk thunk; Since I had osteotomy... they were hitting the side of my nose.... It didn’t hurt, but the feeling was strange, so I kept going, “Ahh~” and stuff.. Then after a while I asked, “Is it almost over now?” and they said only one hour had passed..;; I was completely devastated.... Since I kept talking about random things, the nurse said, “If you keep this up, the surgery will be hard,” and then the doctor said, “Please put her to sleep...” or something like that;; Then I got dizzy again, and I don’t remember anything after that.. I woke up again and said, “2.5 mm, please;;” and after they stitched me up, it was over. Oh, but when they took out the nasal septum in the middle, it hurt a bit. Even with anesthesia.. At that time the nurse said, “This part hurts a little,” while pressing down firmly on my stomach.. After the surgery, when I tried to get up, it really felt like the ground was pulling me down and I was dizzy.. I guess they had put in a lot of anesthetic..;; I rested in the recovery room with some ice packs, and then they said I could go home..;; so I left.. But from then on the osteotomy area beside my nose started hurting like crazy, and it was really unbearable... I was groaning the whole way and thought I was going to die.. I ate a little porridge for dinner and took painkillers, and the pain eased a bit;; But the problem was.. because my nose was blocked, I had to breathe through my mouth, and my lips dried out so badly it was really driving me insane.. I was so tired that I wanted to sleep, but my throat was dry, and it got so dry that my tongue hardened stiffly;; Even with a humidifier right in front of my nose turned on.. my lips were swollen and dried out;;; my throat hurt, and my nose kept making me sneeze so I was going crazy;; Then a day passed;; I went to get the gauze removed.... The feeling of removing the gauze is really terrible, ugh; Taking out the gauze that had been packed deep inside my nose... drove me crazy And then the doctor pressed on my nose, and it hurt so much that I burst into tears...........ㅠㅠ They said I have to come back to the hospital again tomorrow;... I’m worried it’ll hurt again.. and it’ll hurt when they take out the stitches later too.. sigh.. If I had known it would be this hard, I honestly would have just lived with it... I really thought that hundreds, thousands of times today until now.. but in a few months, I probably won’t think that at all, right?.............Thinking of that time, I’ll try to endure just a little longer.. Everyone, become beautiful^^
