Apgujeong Double Eyelid Surgery Consultation Footwork Review

I went around Apgujeong for consultations. I’m not sure if this will be helpful, but I’ll write it out.

1. K Plastic Surgery Clinic

It’s hard to find surgery reviews online, but there are many reviews saying the director is very kind. Until last winter, they did incisional surgery, but now they apparently no longer do incisions. I liked this place the most because the consultation was very honest and convincing, but unfortunately they said my eyes can only be done with an incision, so they couldn’t operate on me. The director said, in a nuanced way, that because they are from an older generation, they pursue a natural look, so their approach is a bit different from the techniques of younger doctors these days. It may depend on the listener, but I felt sincerity in that honest consultation and in their philosophy as a doctor, so I wanted to cling to them and beg to have it done there. But they told me to get consultations at other hospitals too and hear various opinions. I’d recommend people who want a natural result and buried-suture double eyelid surgery to get a consultation here. I got turned away though ㅠ ㅠ

This is also a hospital famous for being conservative. The doctor has a clear philosophy and pursues naturalness, but the consultation style can be stubborn, so depending on the person, it might come across as somewhat off-putting. Still, they post their philosophy extensively on their blog, and I felt they were passionate. From the beginning of the consultation, they said that if I wanted something glamorous, I had come to the wrong place; with these eyes, even if I got double eyelid surgery, an in-out line would be the limit, and even that would roll inward because of the characteristics of my eye shape, so it might be better not to have surgery at all. They sounded skeptical about doing double eyelid surgery on my eyes, but they explained the reasons in considerable detail. They didn’t just stop at saying that the change would be minimal even with double eyelid surgery; they gave a very detailed and lengthy consultation explaining why they thought that way. Rather, it gave me a chance to rethink cosmetic surgery, and even made me feel confident about my current eyes. The consultation fee was 10,000 won.

3. O Plastic Surgery Clinic.

As soon as I went in, there were two counter staff sitting there, and they were so rude that I just left. I won’t say where it was. Looking at reviews, people said the director isn’t like that.

4. P Plastic Surgery Clinic.

There were many doctors and many people. The consultation manager was young and pretty, but she couldn’t really design the line and lacked professionalism. Still, she was very kind, so it was possible to have a comfortable conversation. The waiting time was very long even though I had a reservation, and looking at other reviews, it seems everyone had the same experience. Even if you have a reservation, I don’t recommend going when you’re pressed for time. If you have reservations at several places on the same day, you need to consider this even more. Your schedule could get thrown off. I had a consultation with the chief director, and it was the complete opposite of the hospitals I mentioned above. They designed the line well, said a semi-out line would suit me, and said natural adhesion was possible, but that incisional surgery, epicanthoplasty, and fat removal would be dramatic. It was what I had originally been thinking of, and since I pursue a glamorous look, I liked it. But there was a bit of same-day reservation pressure, though not too severe, and the manager seemed, how should I put it, a little lacking in professionalism. Still, that only means she seemed inexperienced; her kindness was very high. Even so, when I look at that director’s review photos, they’re very much my preferred style, so I’m tempted, but I don’t know if it would suit my face.

That was my poor consultation footwork review haha I hope it helps
