I'm currently considering double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction, so I went for a consultation, and they recommended non-incisional ptosis correction. I thought I had ptosis, but they explained that it's pseudoptosis, so if I do it with an incision, about 80% of my iris/pupil area would be exposed, much more than I want, and the correction could end up being a bit excessive. When I watch videos by other directors on YouTube, they say that if you do it non-incisionally, it will definitely loosen within a year, so which is right? I'm going around asking at other clinics too, but everyone says different things, so I'm curious about the experiences of people who have actually had it done.
