Could this be a side effect of the septum?

The septal cartilage at the tip of my nose looks white, and when I touch it, it has become so thin it feels like it could break through the skin~ It's been 1 year since the surgery. Can it keep getting thinner? Can septal cartilage also have side effects? And the part between the two nostrils is hard~ both the tip and that central part are hard. Before surgery, it was soft, but now it's been a year and it's hard~ Could this be a septum side effect? I thought the septum has no side effects, but it's so hard that I'm worried.~ If the tip is done with septal cartilage, is it normally hard? If I smile strongly to one side, the support structure made of septal cartilage between the nostrils rattles, which scares me. I had it done with septal cartilage, but even after a year it rattles, and the columella and tip are so hard and white that I'm wondering whether the skin is thinning and about to break through. Did the doctor possibly use something else and just say it was septal cartilage?
