When I had rhinoplasty, I only had local anesthesia, but when I had a removal consultation at another hospital, they said they would proceed with sedation anesthesia for about 10 minutes. I wonder if there is a specific reason to use sedation anesthesia. Even if the sedation wears off, they would still anesthetize the surgical site anyway, so I’m curiousㅠ I haven’t asked the hospital yet, but does anyone happen to know the reason?
