I had an open rhinoplasty with silicone and ear cartilage, and now I’m thinking about having everything removed. But some places say it should be removed through an open approach, while others say a closed approach is also possible. Since I’m going through with it anyway, I don’t want to leave more scar on the columella if I can avoid it. Please tell me how things were after open vs closed surgery, that would help a lot please

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
