I’m torn. I had my nasal tip done with septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and AlloDerm, and I want nasal tip removal because I’m dissatisfied with the shape, function, and foreign-body sensation. I went for a removal consultation at one of the three major places, and they said of course I can’t return to my original nose, and if I think about the shape even after removal, it would be better to leave the support strut in or reinforce it around the original septal area. They said AlloDerm can be removed if it hasn’t adhered, but they don’t separately remove the parts that have adhered. To prevent a saddle nose, upturned nose, or drooping noseㅠㅠ But honestly, I’m removing it because of the foreign-body sensation…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
