It’s not silicone inflammation, it’s inflammation of donated costal cartilage. The mucous membrane inside my nose swells and hurts. It doesn’t show much on the outside, though the outside also swells a little, but almost only I can tell. Inside my nose, it swells enough to make it hard to breathe. Mild inflammation has recurred about twice within a month. If I get antibiotic injections for a day or two, it goes down. Has anyone in this kind of case improved with only antibiotic treatment without removal? Or is removal the only answer? Please let me know if you’ve experienced a similar case. The hospital just says to watch it, but I’m so frustrated, I feel like I’m losing my mind, and people in the world…
