If only the silicone is removed without removing the nasal-tip cartilage

They say that nasal cartilage is autologous tissue, so it won’t cause inflammation or contracture, but is that really true? If so, then shouldn’t there have been no patients who originally had cartilage put into the nasal tip, developed inflammation and contracture, and ended up having it removed… But there are many people who are considering removal because inflammation developed in the nasal tip… I really don’t know whose words to believe
