There’s a mesh plate in my nose that the doctor insists is absolutely not mesh. Before surgery, I was told they would do septal extension, and that ear cartilage could be used if there wasn’t enough. I was not informed about mesh before surgery, and if it weren’t for this community, I might have gone my whole life without knowing there was a foreign material in my nose. Isn’t that so chilling? The fact that this happened in 2024. But I have to live my real life, I have a job and a family, and time and energy just don’t allow it. I don’t have the strength to go to the hospital and confront them, or the strength to look for a new hospital. Why me, why this…
