I’m 2 years post-op with silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. The inside of my left nostril doesn’t feel like mucous membrane. I don’t know how to explain it, but when I sweep it with a cotton swab, it feels dry and hard. It doesn’t feel moist and soft like that. I don’t know if this is scar tissue or if the tissue has hardened. And I’m so stressed because my nasal tip has dropped, so I’m thinking about removal. Feeling like I have to baby my nose is so uncomfortable, and aside from what I wrote above there aren’t any other problems, but would I regret removing it just because it feels uncomfortable? My goal is complete removal, but whether it’s a septal strut or extension…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
