I’m not as puffy as Cho Jolin -- (though I’m about as plump as Cho Yang) My skin is insanely good.--; brag?ㅋㅋ Baby skin. But instead, like most baby skin, the flesh all over my body is way too soft... so in my mid-20s my jaw area started sagging more and more, which became a complex for me. I have four daughters and they all ended up that way. They say if you do chin liposuction while you’re even a year younger, the skin re-adheres and you’ll worry less about sagging later as you age, so I went for it~ Don’t ask me where I got it done -0- I had it done in my neighborhood lol I don’t mind answering if you ask, but my eyes and nose were both done in Apgujeong before, nose ㅂㅍ eye ㅇㅇㅈ This time I also went to a few places in Apgujeong for facial lipo, but honestly the hospitals were too... how should I put it... They looked like a market. I had doubts whether they could really do lipo well when they’re so packed with people and so pressed for time. So I just got it done in my neighborhood~ Everyone, don’t trust Apgujeong alone too much~ After doing it in my neighborhood today, I can see there are a lot of advantages. For lipo, honestly, what matters is how carefully and thoroughly they remove it, and whether they get it out from all the little corners. I don’t think it’s good to rush and just yank it out, then be happy just because it ended early. First, the time~ it took about an hour and a half for me. It was only chin~neck-line lipo, and it still took that long, right? I thought it might be rough, but they were really meticulous. For sedation anesthesia, they inserted the IV, and suddenly my vision got blurry, and when I woke up, it was over~ They put the IV in and injected something to soften the fat, two kinds of antibiotics, two kinds to reduce swelling, and so on~ The doctor explained everything well, so I wasn’t worried. (Honestly, I thought if I did it in the neighborhood, they’d just anesthetize me and yank it all out without care..) Beforehand they said they’d make holes in both earlobes and under one side of the chin, but when I woke up, they said there was no need, so they only made holes in both ears. Because they kept me on IV fluids the whole time, I wanted to go to the bathroom as soon as I woke up, but I went to the bathroom still not fully out of anesthesia and was wobbling~ㅋ When I came back wobbling and looked in the mirror, what do you know... They say facial lipo doesn’t swell much -- it really barely swelled at all. In fact, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are supposed to be the peak swelling days. They said there could be bruising too, but there wasn’t even one bruise.. just a slight redness ㅡㅡ But the jaw line was visible right away...--ㅋ It’ll probably disappear once it swells tomorrow, but still, I was surprised that it showed up so clearly right away... Celebs saying they’ve lost weight and it looks like they had their jaw shaved, right? I think when they say they lost weight, maybe they actually had facial lipo... For reference, I’m 165 cm and about 58 kg, with a puffy face style.. If I’m still, you can’t tell, but if I turn my face to the side, from the side the jaw line disappears ㅋ I had it done at 2 p.m. today, and now it’s 6:20 p.m., and after it was over, they moved me to another seat and let me sleep for about 30 more minutes while I got IV fluids~ ㅋㅋㅋ I really liked thatㅋ Maybe because of the experience from surgeries in Apgujeong, there they’d probably just stick on a compression tape and say, “Rest a bit and then go,” and guide the patient to the sofa (I actually saw that while waiting for consultation~ after finishing surgery in 30 minutes, they came out and sat on the transparent sofa next to and below it, and the nurse just put on the tape and said to rest thereㅡㅡ....) After the IV was done, they put on compression tape, and together with gauze they really fastened it tightly.. It wasn’t a nurse but the doctor himself The cut parts feel a bit sore like bruising right now, but it doesn’t feel like I had surgery at all..ㅡㅡㅋ I secretly did this without telling my parents, and booked a motel near the hospital for 5 days, so I’m eating sweet red bean porridge at night...ㅋㅋㅋ I’m on a diet so I don’t want to eat, but I feel like I should eat some protein so the skin can settle and stick well, and in this state meat feels like too much ㅡ.ㅡ So I chose red beans ㅋㅋㅋ I checked the nutrition label and picked a porridge with high protein. If it had been in Apgujeong, they would’ve probably told me to come out when it was time to remove the stitches, but the place in my neighborhood says to come every day~ They’ll check the progress every day and do some kind of ultrasound? mid-frequency? anyway, something to help the swelling go down faster... Anyway, facial lipo is highly recommended~ That feeling of immediately seeing a difference after surgery~ later I’m excited to see how sharp it will look ^^ Of course, because of my jaw bone it apparently won’t become super sharp.. (double chin, jaw-to-neck area) After doing it, I think it was good that I didn’t do the deep cheek fat. As you get older, unless your face is balloon-like, it’s better to save cheek fat....^^ I’ll upload again next time~ I can’t upload photos here because I’m at a motel right now ㅋ Well, even at home they had me wrapped up so tightly that there wouldn’t have been any photos to take anyway..~ Since I’m a member of this community, I should at least be worth the moneyㅋㅋ If I can get photos taken at the hospital later, I’ll upload them.
