Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

What do you think about the cartilage-particle injection method that’s popular these days?

Hospitals seem to give it different names, but it looks like they grind ear cartilage into particles, mix it with your own blood, and inject it through a closed approach. It’s popular because there’s no cotton packing or splint and recovery is really fast, but to me it feels somewhere between filler and surgery. It would last longer than filler and probably wouldn’t spread, but would it last as long as surgery? I’m worried that over time the nasal tip might droop badly. For anyone here thinking about revision rhinoplasty, what do you think of this method? There are even doctors who would remove silicone and do revision with this method.
